Walk the Path of Cultural Safety Together

organizational cultural learning
cultural safety for organizations

Welcome to Culturally Committed. We’re honored to walk alongside organizations seeking to deepen their commitment to cultural safety and humility.

To be a Siyéy̓ə—a good friend—is to show up with curiosity, with an open heart and open mind. It means listening with intention, reflecting with humility, and applying what you’ve learned in ways that ripple outward.

That’s the spirit we carry into this work.

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A Siyéy̓ə?

A Siyéy̓ə participates in active listening, takes teachings to heart, and applies those teachings in new contexts. They acknowledge themselves as humble learners—open to discomfort, dialogue, and growth.

We invite your organization to take up this role and foster a culture rooted in respect, reflection, and shared responsibility.

TWO WAYS TO ENGAGE

We offer two distinct options for organizations seeking to engage in this work:

‘I want to say a big thank you for the Introduction to Indigenous Cultural Safety: Truth, Resilience, and Reconciliation with Jenn Smith of Tlowitsis First Nation course.

...hearing this story through Jenn’s telling deepened my understanding of the effects of colonialism. I take this understanding and bring it with me into my work and commitment to Reconciliation.”

"What started as part of my 9-to-5 became something so much deeper. Culturally Committed gave me confidence in my identity, space to ask questions, and a true sense of community—both inside and outside of work. It’s a place where Indigenous and non-Indigenous people come together to learn, reflect, and build relationships rooted in respect and truth. It’s changed how I navigate my work, my relationships, and how I show up in the world."

“Our partnership with Culturally Committed has created something truly meaningful—a community of conversation, awareness, and deep belonging. Over the last two years, we’ve built a space where learning and relearning happen with heart, care, and connection. It’s more than professional growth—it feels like family.”

GET STARTED

Becoming a Siyéy̓ə is a relationship—one that begins with a conversation.

If you're ready to explore the next step, we’d love to hear from you. We’ll listen, learn more about your team, and explore how we might walk this path together.
